Leopard Ripsaw Catfish (Oxydoras niger sp)

This is one amazing catfish. It is a new strain of hybridized ripsaw catfish. It features a light purplish grey body and black leopard marking. The ripsaw catfish is a species of thorny catfish native to the Amazon,  The ripsaw catfish will reach a length of three feet, featuring a unique set of scutes (bony plates) that run horizontally along the lateral line. This Leopard catfish is sure become one of our new favorites and we will definitely be growing some out for our display tanks.
